EDITORIAL
Este número especial do BOMGEAM é dedicado ao Prof. Dr. Dr. Herbert Pöllmann, que tão prematuramente nos deixou em 05.05.2022. Gostaríamos, certamente de estar apresentando um número especial dedicado a ele, mas em vida, por conta de sua enorme contribuição à mineralogia., seu incontestável entusiasmo pelos minerais em todos os seus aspectos, da investigação no campo, da síntese e no enfronhar de sua estrutura cristalina. Infelizmente a natureza nos pegou de surpresa, e muita antecipada no tempo, e nos privou para sempre deste grande amigo, colega, professor, pesquisador, pai, marido e amante dos minerais, fosse ele qual fosse.
Neste número deixamos em aberto a forma com que cada colaborador apresentasse a sua contribuição, seja como artigo científico em coautoria ou não, seja como relato de experiência de vida ao lado de Herbert Pöllmann. Dada a minha longa convivência no tempo e no espaço com Herbert, foram 43 anos, tanto na Alemanha como no Brasil e mesmo pelo mundo afora, escrevi um texto longo com muitas imagens do meu acervo pessoal, retratando vários desses momentos de convivência. Peço desculpas àqueles que porventura estiverem expostos nas imagens e que não se sintam à vontade neste relato, peço milhões de desculpas, mas confesso que o fiz com a intenção de mostrar o apreço de todos nós para com essa pessoa magnífica, o Herbert, o amante pleno e atual dos minerais e enaltecer a nossa admiração por ele. Herbert dedicou a sua vida a eles, os minerais naturais e sintéticos, e como fruto disso tudo, deixou um legado na forma de recursos humanos espalhados pelo mundo afora, publicações e uma bela, rica e rara coleção de minerais, e o que é mais importante, uma esposa e um filho corajosos e honrados.

This special issue of BOMGEAM is dedicated to Prof. Dr. Dr. Herbert Pöllmann, who so prematurely left us on 05.05.2022. We would certainly like to be presenting a special issue dedicated to him, but in life, due to his enormous contribution to mineralogy, his undeniable enthusiasm for minerals in all their aspects, research in the field, synthesis and in the depth of his crystalline structure. Unfortunately, nature took us by surprise, and very early in time, and forever deprived us of this great friend, colleague, teacher, researcher, father, husband, and lover of minerals, whoever it might be.
In this issue, we leave open the way in which each contributor presents their contribution, whether as a scientific article co-authored or not, or as a report on their life experience alongside Herbert Pöllmann. Given my long coexistence in time and space with Herbert, it was 43 years, both in Germany and in Brazil and even around the world, I wrote a long text with many images from my personal collection, portraying several of these moments of coexistence. I apologize to those who may be exposed in the images and who do not feel comfortable in this report, I apologize a lot, but I confess that I did it with the intention of showing the appreciation of all of us towards this magnificent person, Herbert, the lover full and current of minerals and enhance our admiration for him. Herbert dedicated his life to them, natural and synthetic minerals, and because of all this, he left a legacy in the form of human resources spread around the world, publications and a beautiful, rich and rare collection of minerals, and what is more important, a brave and honorable wife and son.

REDAKTION
Diese Sonderausgabe von BOMGEAM ist Prof. Dr. Dr. Herbert Pöllmann, der uns so vorzeitig am 05.05.2022 verlassen hat. Wir würden ihm sicherlich gerne ein Sonderheft widmen, aber im Leben, aufgrund seines enormen Beitrags zur Mineralogie, seiner unbestreitbaren Begeisterung für Mineralien in all ihren Aspekten, der Feldforschung, der Synthese und in der Tiefe seiner kristallinen Struktur. Leider hat uns die Natur sehr früh überrascht und uns für immer diesen großartigen Freund, Kollegen, Lehrer, Forscher, Vater, Ehemann und Liebhaber von Mineralien, egal was es war, gebracht.
In dieser Ausgabe lassen wir offen, wie jeder Beitragende seinen Beitrag präsentiert, sei es als wissenschaftlicher Artikel mit oder ohne Mitautor oder als Erfahrungsbericht an der seite von Herbert Pöllmann. Angesichts meiner langen Koexistenz in Zeit und Raum mit Herbert, es waren 43 Jahre, sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Brasilien und sogar auf der ganzen Welt, habe ich einen langen Text mit vielen Bildern aus meiner persönlichen Sammlung geschrieben, der einige dieser Momente der Koexistenz porträtiert. Ich entschuldige mich bei denen, die möglicherweise auf den Bildern zu sehen sind und sich in diesem Bericht nicht wohl fühlen. Ich entschuldige mich vielmals, aber ich gestehe, dass ich dies in der Absicht getan habe, die Wertschätzung von uns allen gegenüber dieser großartigen Person, Herbert, zu zeigen , der Liebhaber voller und aktueller Mineralien und steigert unsere Bewunderung für ihn. Herbert widmete ihnen sein Leben, natürlichen und synthetischen Mineralien, und als Ergebnis all dessen hinterließ er ein Vermächtnis in Form von weltweit verteilten Humanressourcen, Veröffentlichungen und einer wunderschönen, reichen und seltenen Sammlung von Mineralien und was es noch gibt was noch wichtiger ist, eine tapfere und ehrenwerte Frau und einen Sohn.
